Fruitsnackia, the land of whimsical fruit-leather characters and their childish antics. Our team developed 16 spots in this world, featuring Larry, Lloyd, and Linus, the three fruit-flavored amigos.

Big Smack

Fruit wrestling! In this episode, Linus gets pummeled by a huge fruity lucha-libre. All the characters had to be custom rigged to stretch, twist, and unroll, calling for some very creative rigging techniques. Lots of fun was had. A few fruitsnacks were eaten.

Below is a peek into the crowd system that I built. In the final spot, the lights were sadly dimmed. :(

Camping

It was a spooky campfire story night... when suddenly a snake rolls down from a tree to scare the kids, then a bear eats the snake. But then the tree eats the bear! Who's next? I contributed mainly to rigging and compositing.

Roller Coaster

My team built a carnival roller coaster ride for this funny spot for Fruit Rollups Flavor Mixers, where the riders literally get tongue-tied, thus mixing their flavors. There was lots of fun rigging on this spot, and the animators pushed it to the edge!

Gushsquito

One of my favorite characters is this hungry little mosquito who ate too much. The animators really brought these crazy rigs to life. This spot also shows a good example of the hand-animated fluid technique seen throughout the campaign.

Gush Doctor

This spot received a lot of attention from viewers, possibly because of its over-the-top gross factor. It was perhaps one of the only successful candy campaigns to show the product as vomit. Well done!
